In February 2020 she found herself inside the emerging Veneto cluster, one of the first COVID-19 outbreaks in Italy. Being eight months pregnant Ekaterina felt frustrated and scared.
The only stable thing that gives her hope and basis to stay strong is her family - her husband and soon to be born baby-girl. They remain isolated, but fortunately together, as a united item.
